I’m so glad you’re here
HI, I’M AMBER! :)
I live in Gray, Maine currently with my wife, twin toddlers, dog and cat. We are working on building our new home in Minot, Maine where we will have a beautiful homestead! I grew up in New Hampshire, but have lived in Maine for almost 10 years. My family still lives in NH, so I go back frequently to visit. I went to college in Western Mass, and I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology. This is very useful in life and in photography because I have a good understanding of people and I pride myself on being calm in all situations. I learned a lot about remaining calm under stress while serving in the Air Force for 6 years as well.
Some fun tidbits about your soon-to-be fave photographer:
-My wife and I got married 6 years ago, and two years ago started the IVF process to have a baby. Well...we ended up with perfect twin daughters.
-Nature is my happy place! I could spend hours, days, weeks outside walking, hiking, camping, or just adventuring and exploring!
-I am addicted to coffee and donuts, but also really enjoy tea!
-My dream is to work full time as a photographer and live on a homestead with gardens and many different farm animals.
-I became a photographer because I love people and I love people in love! I believe everyone should have beautiful photos of the happy moments in their lives!

More on the natural, true-toned side. I edit more true to skin tone to make sure we can see all the beautiful natural colors you perfectly planned for your wedding day. Some words that I would use to describe are candid, fun, natural, romantic, and playful.

We bring all professional grade gear to every wedding we photograph. That means, that all of our cameras have a dual card slot (your photos are being recorded to 2 SD cards instead of one), back up batteries/chargers, on and off camera flash setup for dark reception rooms. and extra memory cards. We are also fully insured!

Yes, a second photographer is available to all of my couples as an option. I prefer to photograph most of my weddings on my own, as I enjoy capturing weddings from my point of view. Though, if you have a guest list of more than 100 or a lot of travel on your day, I highly recommend choosing to have a second shooter.

On average, turn-around time is 2-3 weeks (during slow season), and during busy season (May - October), turn-around time is 6-8 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for sessions. However, you will always receive some sneak peeks shortly after because everyone loves sneak peeks :)
You will receive your photographs in a digital gallery online of high resolution images. You also will have a print release so you can take your photos anywhere you’d like.
